Dr. Michael Gooing - Primary Doctor

Dr. Michael Gooing has been taking care of patients with his Chiropractic practice since 1983.  He specializes in Organic health care and total mind/body wellness. Dr. Gooing graduated from Cleveland college of Chiropractic in 1982 where he studied under Dr. Cleveland Sr. Dr. Cleveland was the founder of the Cleveland College, which is considered the leading school of chiropractic.  Dr. Gooing began practice in 1983 as an associate doctor in Costa Mesa.  He was fortunate to be mentored by the leaders in the profession, Dr. Bob Griffin and Dr. Jim Parker.

Dr. Gooing opened his private practice in 1984. His love of sport, (he was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers), lead him to be the team doctor over the years for the US Olympic wresting team, Conference champions- Corona Del Mar Football team, Santa Ana Valley High School football team, Costa Mesa High School football team and the YMCA.  Dr. Gooing was on the board of directors for the Hungerford School of Massage Therapy.

In 1993, “Self” magazine named Dr. Gooing one of the top 27 Chiropractors in The United States. 

Dr Gooing’s personal goal has always been to get sick people well, and he does. With all his awards and recognition from others, he will tell you his greatest accomplishment is when he restores health to his patients.

Staff

Gooing Chiropractic currently employs five full time staff members, a professional bookkeeper, three massage therapists, a full time billing service and a marketing consultant.  All of the full time employees and Doctors at GCC have been trained in the Gibson Chiropractic management programs.  They continue to upgrade their skills by attending Gibson seminars throughout the year.
